In a sense I do agree... That is why the thread is created... Share the word that we do come across.. No doubt that we can refer the meaning from dictionary but there are cases we can't simply find the direct translation.. true meaning by just refering to the word and ignoring the rest of the sentence. Looks into the case of 'Catch 21', I really not sure whether the word can be found in the dictionary.

good effort in trying to explain vocabulary through mere chatting or forum...though many might be confused....

Welcome Shahrul.. make yourself at home..
Generally that is the main idea.. to share and expand our vocabularies.. use some uncommonly used words here. Familiarized it.. used some example to express it.
I do have this Hobson's Choice when I plan to start this topic, but after due considerations.. the pros outweigh the cons.. hence I started it. Alhamdulillah although there are not much responses.. but it do generate some great contributions.
